Edgemoor Acute Psychiatric Hospital

Edgemmor hospital is a skilled nursing facility built in 2007 in Santee, California. The County of San Diego decided to convert one wing of that hospital into a 13 bed Acute Psychiatric Hospital, +/- 13,000 square feet. Special attention was focused on patient and staff safety, privacy, anti ligature environment yet creating a pleasant indoor and outdoor space. Circulation and patient observation are enhanced by nurse station and security team location.
